Whenever I spend the night in a hotel, I take home all the freebies that I can.
Well, since I pay for the room, I guess they’re not actually free. Regardless, every tiny bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and even the coffee all make the journey back home with me. While I typically find a use for these hotel freebies, one always has me stumped: the shower cap.
I never mind getting my hair wet when I take a bath or shower, so I don’t know why I grab them every time. But now, I’m glad that I do. Just like most other items, the shower cap has several unconventional uses that can make life a whole lot easier. I might have to start asking for extras!
1. Whether you’re a teacher or a parent (or both), keep your children’s art supplies covered with a cap to avoid a huge mess.
2. When using an electronic device for a recipe in the kitchen, avoid getting food on it by slipping a cap over top.
3. If you’re allergic to dirt or dust mites, cover your broom with a shower cap to keep particles from getting stuck in it and ultimately being spread around your home.
